Newick Cricket Club

Welcome to Newick Cricket Club

Newick Cricket Club is a friendly and ambitious Sussex village club with a thriving junior section. New juniors (8 and upwards) and adult players (of all standards) are welcome and can participate fully in training sessions and matches.

Newick CC boasts a lovely ground and excellent facilities: our grounds man prides himself on consistently excellent wickets and we have a welcoming pavilion with a bar.

There are ECB-trained coaches among our club members and we have the latest bowling machine for practice use. Our 3 senior teams play Saturday league cricket in the East Sussex League (Divisions 2, 3 and 11). We put out Sunday and mid-week teams, playing friendly cricket of all standards. The Junior section is extremely successful with a large proportion graduating to one of our senior league teams.

For adult members (age 16 and upwards) please contact Cameron Jones (cjones@wellssenior.co.uk)

PARENTS/JUNIORS - please contact Howard Ramsey: bullinn@tiscali.co.uk, 01825 722410, 07850989924. Our main training sessions are on Friday evenings 5.30-6.30pm for U9 & U11's, 6.30-8.00pm for U13 & U15's.

All newcomers are most welcome to turn up at nets or on match days.

Overseas Players: we welcome overseas players, but we are an amateur club and do not pay anyone to play cricket for us.
